It’s raking season. We’ll meet at the church at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 14 to rake the church grounds and at least one neighbor’s yard. The church grounds need raking more than once this fall. A sign-up sheet on the back counter at church lists times to rake during the week, ideally after the compost bin is emptied on Wednesday afternoons.

Agency for New Americans has arranged a showing of Everybody to Kenmure Street, a documentary that chronicles the community protests on Kenmure Street in Glasgow, Scotland, in May 2021. The Great Gingerbread Build supports Corpus Commons, which provides meals, showers, laundry, medical attention, clothing, computers, a mailing address, community and dignity to people who are unhoused or low-income in Boise. HPMF helped start Corpus Commons 25 years ago and is a Faith Sponsor of this year’s event. Ways to take part:
