What to expect on Sundays
10:00 a.m. - Worship Service
We love to sing! Our service starts with two or three hymns so people can get settled and comfortable. A worship leader from the congregation guides us through scripture readings and announcements. Pastor Jonathan or a guest speaker will give a sermon or homily and we'll sing a few more hymns. There is an open time of sharing prayers and concerns from the congregation followed by a closing hymn.
The service usually lasts about an hour and a half and we are casual. Come as you are.
Sunday streamed live on Zoom
Our service is available to everyone via Zoom. We often have people join virtually who are living out of state or at college, or who might be feeling well that day. If you'd like to join the live stream worship session, please let us know and we'll email you the link to join.
Your Kids are welcome
We love to have children involved in the service. It is not a place where you worry about your children not being solemn enough. We have a play area in the sanctuary and a nursery downstairs if you wish to take your kids downstairs to play. Every service includes a children's time, when kids come forward for a story. The nursery is connected to the sound system, so you can still hear the service while your little ones play.
Every Sunday we center our commitment to nonviolence and peacemaking by praying for peace within ourselves, in our communities, and around the world.

Worship Themes
MusicWe love to sing!
Each week we have a different music leader. Our songs are often sung from a hymnal. You do not need to know how to read music to join in. We also sing more contemporary songs with lyrics on the screen at the front of the room.
Many Sundays include songs that are a cappella style, some are led by the piano, and other times we have several guitars.
It's never loud and we don't have a drum set or loud speakers.
