PASTOR
JONATHAN MARK
Pastor Jonathan Mark began at Hyde Park in March of 2026. They are committed to the Biblical call to shalom, which is a peace that comes when all people have material thriving, good health, honesty, and justice. This means taking Jesus seriously when he opened the scroll of Isaiah and called for the release of captives, healing of the ill, good news for the poor, and the forgiveness of debts. Pastor Jonathan grew up in Goshen, Indiana, in a Mennonite household. Attended undergrad at Goshen College and seminary at Duke Divinity School. Their first pastoral position was at First Mennonite Church of Reedley, CA from 2019-2026. They enjoy playing with their two dogs, Ruby and Sammy, hiking and road biking, and life-long learning.
